On the 1st of September, 2021 the “7 x Westerplatte” show at the Gdańsk Museum of the Second World War took place. The musical spectacle honoured the 82th anniversary of the outbreak of the Second World War.
Event’s narration was based on experiences of soldiers who defended the Westerplatte peninsula interwined with music, etudes, solo instrumental perfomances and life acts. All using the latest technologies like huge water screen or drones.
Polish greatest artists performed in the concert. The stage hosted Justyna Steczkowska, Krzysztof Cugowski, Marcin Januszkiewicz, Anika Dąbrowska, Zuza Jabłońska, Kasia Dereń, Grubson, Tomson i Baron, Ania Rusowicz, Arkadio, Mateusz Ziółko and Sebastian Karpiel-Bułecka.
“7 x Westerplatte” show was executive produced by TVP3 Gdańsk. Art Zone Events agency was it’s artistic and technical producer. The concert was aired live on national television (TVP1) prime time.
