On September 20th the very first awards gala of Okulary ks. Kaczkowskiego. Nie widzę przeszkód. (The pr. Kaczkowski’s glasses. I see no obstacles.) took place. The award originated from The Pr. Kaczkowski Foundation’s initiative and is intended for people who devote themselves to helping others and fighting for human’s dignity.
The gala, led by Szymon Hołownia, took place in the Polish Chamber Philharmonic hall in Sopot. The first award winner was Paweł Grabowski. Second and third places in jury’s vote were taken by Jolanta Bobińska and Paweł Bilski. The awards were handed to laureates by special guests: The Mayor of Sopot – Jacek Karnowski, vice Marshal of Pomeranian Region – Agnieszka Kapała-Sokalska and Mayor of Puck – Hanna Pruchniewska. The special award of OKOcelebryty (Celebrities Eye) was handed to actress Marta Żmuda-Trzebiatowska by jury’s chairmen – Prof. Jerzy Stuhr.
Our team, in cooperation with foundation’s members (President Anna Cina-Ciskowska, Małgorzata Kaczkowska and Małgorzata Szumała) and the scriptwriter – Joanna Kraszewska, was responsible for holistic event production, technical suport and scenography construction, designed by the stage designer – Michał Białołusz.
