Outdoor Concert "Generations of Freedom"

The concert "Generations of Freedom" at Plac Zebrań Ludowych in Gdańsk inaugurated the three-day celebrations of the Festival of Freedom and Civil Rights. The central theme of the event, commemorating the anniversary of the June 4, 1989 elections, was freedom.

The event was hosted by popular Polsat presenters Paulina Sykut-Jeżyna and Krzysztof Ibisz.

The program featured iconic songs from the transformation era of the 1980s and 1990s, presented in new arrangements. Many of these songs, such as "Po co wolność" (Why Freedom), "Chcemy być sobą" (We Want to Be Ourselves), "Nie pytaj o Polskę" (Don’t Ask About Poland), "Dorosłe dzieci" (Grown-Up Children), and "Przeżyj to sam" (Experience It Yourself), have become anthems of their generation.

The artists included performers who vividly remember June 4, 1989, as well as those who were not yet born at the time. Among them were Tribbs, Igor Herbut, Kamil Bednarek, Varius Manx and Kasia Stankiewicz, Grzegorz Kupczyk, Daria Marx, Sienna Gospel Choir, Doda, Kayah, Grzegorz Stróżniak, Raz Dwa Trzy, Big Cyc, Krzysztof Skiba, Mezo, Kasia Wilk, Jary Oddział Zamknięty, Mateusz Ziółko, Michał Szpak, Dr. Misio with Arkadiusz Jakubik and Martyna Jakubowicz.

The Mayor of Gdańsk, Aleksandra Dulkiewicz, appeared on stage, rallying the crowd with the slogan: "Don’t sleep, or they’ll outvote you."

Our team supported Polsat’s production group in organizing and producing the concert and was responsible for building the stage design.
